In psychology white represents new beginnings. A blank canvas to be written on. Moreover, its basic feature is equality, implying fairness and impartiality. It is also the color of protection and encouragement, offering a sense of peace and calm, comfort and hope. It is also the favored color of brides – and in reference to the underlying significance, it is a beautiful representation of a happy, blessed marriage.
Simonie had always wanted an one-shoulder gown, with romantic accents of lace. The motive of the ceremony would be white too, with highlights of green, soft lighting and candles.
Her snow white dress comprised of a beautiful dropped bodice fashioned from elegantly embroidered and Chantilly lace. This lovely lace motif continued over her one shoulder. The skirt was made from tulle which was layered with silky soft chiffon.
Graceful and elegant, Simonie looked absolutely…undeniably…irrecoverably…breathtaking!
